Several of our partners have endorsed the Privacy Shield principles and are affiliated with the Privacy Shield programme run by the US Department of Commerce. Until recently, affiliation with the Privacy Shield programme guaranteed an appropriate level of protection for the processing of personal data. However, the European Court of Justice’s decision of 16 July 2020 (Schrems II case) declared this Privacy Shield invalid. We are currently looking into the best way to handle this situation and are closely monitoring developments relating to the case. Privacy is one of our top priorities and we are making every effort to come up with an appropriate solution. We will inform you in this privacy and cookies statement as soon as we have come up with an appropriate solution.
